Kuwait is a country located in West Asia. Located at the northern end of the Arabian Peninsula at the tip of the Arabian Gulf, it shares the border with Iraq and Saudi Arabia. As of 2016, Kuwait has a population of 4.5 million: 1.3 million Kuwaitis and 3.2 million expatriates. Expatriates make up about 70% of the population as the number of foreign expatriates is greater than the number of Kuwaitis themselves.

Islam is the main religion of the State of Kuwait, giving full freedom to adherents of other religions, provided that the Islamic religion is not compromised.
A long, hot and dry summer, from April to October, with temperatures ranging from 28°C to 50°C, and a short winter the coldest months from December to February, with temperatures ranging from 8°C to 18°C.
Kuwait has a population of approximately 3,328,136 during 2007, of which 1,038,598 are natives and the rest are expatriates and foreigners. The population growth rate is 6.5% and is one of the highest levels in the world.
Since the declaration of independence, Kuwaitis have chosen democracy and shura as the basis for governance. A few months after the declaration of this independence, Law No. 1 of 1962 established the Constituent Assembly to prepare a constitution that would show the system of government on the basis of democratic principles.
The State of Kuwait is divided into six governorates: the capital, Hawalli, Al-Farawaniyah, Al-Ahmadi, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and Al-Jahra.
